The Educational Institute of Scotland is the largest educational trade union in Scotland. We are here to improve the Scottish education system and to ensure teachers are protected and supported throughout their university course and teaching career.
For some of you this will be your very first Threshold magazine as you have just recently joined the EIS, for others you will have received these throughout your course.
This magazine is designed specifically for our student members and is here to give you some advice on your course, give you an idea on what the EIS are doing at the moment and show you how you can get involved in shaping the Scottish Education system through the EIS.
We are always looking for feedback and ideas, so if you can think of ways we can make this magazine better or how the EIS can support students better then get in touch.
