Administrative Assistant Grade A Membership

Salary £28128 - £31800 pa
The EIS is Scotlandís largest and most influential trade union and professional organisation for teachers and lecturers, with over 55,000 members working in all education sectors.

We are currently seeking a full time Administrative Assistant in our Membership Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for our annual elections, Microsoft Access database, head of Membership and producing our diary.

In addition, the candidate will have a high standard of communication skills and excellent attention to detail as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Benefits include a final salary superannuation scheme and 23 days (rising to 32) annual leave plus 14 days public holidays.

This is a full time position based in our headquarters in Edinburgh. Professional Learning Co-ordinator

This permanent post will be based in Edinburgh and involves recruiting, supporting and developing the Instituteís accredited Learning Representatives, co-ordinating Professional Learning events, promoting and publicising the Instituteís Professional Learning activities, and Committee servicing.
 
The Professional Learning Co-ordinator will be based in our Edinburgh Headquarters.  Considerable travel throughout Scotland will be necessary.  A car will be provided and applicants must hold a full driving licence.
