Call to Action: Write to Danny Alexander
We are asking members to get involved and take action to help protect pensions.
Recently the UK Government attempted to interfere with Scottish pension discussions in the form of a letter from Danny Alexander which suggested that the Coalition Government would insist that the retirement age was linked to the National State Pension Age, rather than the Scottish negotiations being able to agree a fixed age for retirement (Read our press release).
We immediately rejected this unwarranted interference and we are now asking members to add their voice to our complaint by communicating your anger to Danny Alexander as the next stage of our letter writing campaign.
