Continuing Professional Development, Learning Representatives and EIS Members
Interested in Leading the Way on CPD?
The EIS has now nearly 100 Learning Representatives based in FE colleges and also working across local authorities (multi-establishment LRs).
The EIS is looking to build up the number of LRs working across local authorities and colleges.
If you want to make a difference to the personal and professional development of teachers and lecturers – you can train to become an EIS Learning Representative.
The course is online and the fees are met by the EIS. The course features a short introductory element which lasts six weeks and is provided by Stow College. The second part of the course is provided through the University of the West of Scotland and lasts three months. The course fees for the second part of the course are met by the EIS. The intake for the course is in February each year.
