EIS-ULA Pay Campaign 2016/17

The EIS believes that university pay is becoming more polarised, with ordinary academic staff being asked to bear the brunt of real terms pay cuts whilst senior staff enjoy real terms pay increases.

Secondly, that universities here in Scotland are delivering healthy operating reserves and have record closing reserves.

Finally, there is a growing disparity between the increasing intensification of work at universities and the decreasing value of pay in real terms. 

The statutory Ballot is now closed.
