How to become a HT & DHT Representative

Applications are invited from HT & DHT EIS members to serve as the Network member for of their Local Association area.

Each Local Association can appoint two Network members - one HT and one DHT - each of whom may nominate her of himself to the Local Association. The period of office is three years, the current cycle running from 2016 - 2019.

A list of current Network members can be found here.

Occupational Networks such as the HT & DHT Network discuss matters of specific interest and relevance to the associated position and responsibilities.

The outcomes of these discussions are then passed to the Education Committee, Executive Committee or Local Associations to form part of the normal process of policy consideration.

*Please note that if you are contacted by an EIS HT or DHT member seeking individual advice or representation, you should advise her or him that they should contact her or his Local Association in the first instance. The role of Network members is not to act as representatives.
