Thank you for taking the time to check out the EIS Student Teachers website!
The EIS is the largest Education Trade Union in Scotland, and whether you are a BEd or a PGDE student teacher, we can provide you with advice and support throughout your career.
As a student you have direct access to our Student Liaison Worker, Robin Munro who regularly visits Universities across Scotland to meet Student Teachers and Education Societies. He also works with Education Societies and Student Associations to organise regular events for Student Teachers.
Education Societies are an excellent way of enabling Student Teachers to engage with each other socially, so if your University doesn’t have one and you would like to set one up, or if you have any questions, Robin would love to hear from you.
