 "That this AGM instruct Council to campaign for anti-racist education to be a requirement in all schools.”

"That this AGM condemn the activities of the British National Party, the Scottish Defence League and other far-right organisations and resolve to approach the Scottish Government and General Teaching Council Scotland with a view to identifying means by which the influence of such organisations could be minimised within all educational establishments in Scotland.”

"That this AGM welcome the publication of the report "Reflecting on the Experiences of People with Disabilities Participating in the Teacher Induction Scheme” published by the General Teaching Council Scotland. This AGM, therefore, resolve to update EIS advice for disabled members and engage with the GTCS and other organisations supporting those with disabilities on how best to improve the working experience and opportunities of disabled teachers and lecturers.”
Amendment – Orkney Local Association
Delete all after the end of the first sentence and add:
 "This AGM therefore resolve:
 1. to update EIS advice for disabled members, including financial advice to teachers and lecturers suffering hardship due to disability;
 2. to engage with the GTCS and other organisations supporting those with disabilities on how best to improve the working experience, opportunities, and access to work for disabled teachers and lecturers.”
