The 172nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the EIS will be held at the Caird Hall in Dundee on the 7th, 8th and 9th of June.

Around 350 delegates (mainly teachers and lecturers from across Scotland) will attend the AGM, to debate key educational issues and to discuss EIS policy priorities for the year ahead.

There are 86 Motions to be debated this year, covering a wide range of issues across pay, workload, and external education bodies. The AGM also features keynote addresses by EIS President Nicola Fisher and General Secretary Larry Flanagan.

A busy programme of fringe events this year includes, Campaign for Local Association, Meet the General Secretary and Yes to Gender Equality: Women and Men in Solidarity.
