Physical Distancing and PPE in education and childcare settings

The Scottish Government has produced supplementary guidance for education and childcare settings on implementing physical distancing and the use of Personal Protective Equipment during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The purpose of this supplementary guidance is to ensure provision made within education and childcare settings is as safe as possible for staff and children. Physical distancing, hygiene and self-isolation of those showing symptoms or living with someone showing symptoms will minimise the risk of transmission of infection.
