Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP, Minister for Further Education, Higher Education and Science will present the awards to the first primary schools in Scotland to achieve ‘Digital School’ status on 22 February at Wormit Primary School.
Digital Schools Award Scotland is a national awards programme to promote, recognise and encourage excellence in the use the use of digital technology at primary school level.
It builds on the progress already made at schools, by providing a pathway and resources for schools who are seeking to do more with digital technology to deliver the curriculum.
The Digital Schools Awards programme is being delivered by HP, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Intel and is recognised by Education Scotland.
