Careers with the EIS
The EIS is Scotlandís largest and most influential trade union and professional organisation for teachers and lecturers, with over 55,000 members working in all education sectors.
The work undertaken involves the provision of information, advice and support to EIS members in the areas of Education, Equality and CPD.
Duties will include developing and advising on policy, research, working with partner bodies and agencies and supporting the servicing of relevant Committees.
The post holder will also be required to provide support and advice to colleagues on the Equality aspects of casework and to support the work of EIS Equality Representatives.
Salary is on a five point incremental scale from £45,852 to £52,107 (pay award pending) and there is a contributory final salary pension scheme. Assistance towards relocation may be available.
