Administrative Assistant Grade C – Employment Relations

Salary £28,848 - £35,148

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organised administrator in our busy employment relations department, which is responsible for the servicing of the Salaries Committee and the Employment Relations Committee, for the provision of legal and other specialist representation to members, and for the EIS Benevolent Funds.

The successful candidate should have experience carrying out key administrative duties and will provide support to the Assistant Secretary and Grade A including typing of correspondence, maintain diary appointments, switchboard cover and updating the SNCT website.

The candidate should have a high standard of communication skills and excellent attention to detail as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office.

This is a full-time position based in our headquarters in Moray Place, Edinburgh. The Institute has a Flexible Working Patterns policy offering all members of staff a high degree of flexibility over the time and location at which work is carried out, subject to the overall requirements of the EIS and its members. The Institute will also consider applications for Flexible Working.
