EIS:  PRIVACY POLICY

The website www.eis.org.uk (the "Site”) is operated by The Educational Institute of Scotland, an organisation registered in Scotland and having its registered office at 46 Moray Place, Edinburgh, EH3 6BH   ("we” or "us”).

We are committed to preserving your privacy. Please read the following privacy policy (the "Privacy Policy”) to understand how we use and protect the information that you provide to us.

By using the Site you consent to the collection, storage, use and transfer of your information under the terms of this Privacy Policy.

What information do we collect?

• information that you provide when you fill in our feedback form on the homepage;
• Information that you provide to us when you log into the secured (members only) pages of the website.

•may be subject to payment of a nominal fee; and/or
•will be subject to your provision of evidence of your identity (for this purpose, we will accept a photocopy of your passport certified by a solicitor or bank plus an original copy of a utility bill showing your current address).

We may withhold such personal information to the extent permitted by law.
