The EIS Stage 1 course for representatives is a course that we have developed with the TUC and is TUC accredited.
This course is available for all school reps and is delivered in conjunction with the TUC tutors.
The EIS Stage 1 course is a 4-day course that is offered in 2 x 2 day blocks and is aimed at reps who are relatively new in the role, those who have had no formal union training or activists who are thinking of becoming a rep. We recommend that all reps and as many activists as possible attend the EIS Stage 1 Representatives training course.
If you are a rep or an activist then please contact your Local Association Secretary to be nominated for one of these courses. Your LA Secretary will then register you with Jennifer Cook.
