Membership enquiries

Any enquiry relating to your membership of the EIS should be directed to our membership department by emailing membership@eis.org.uk or telephone 0131 220 2268. British Sign Language (BSL) users can contact us direct by using contactSCOTLAND-BSL

Typical membership enquiries include changes to:

  • personal details
  • changing establishment
  • maternity leave
  • subscriptions
  • bank details
  • tax relief on subscriptions

Students members can also contact students@eis.org.uk

Employment issues

Whatever your concern the first person to contact is normally your EIS Representative or Branch Secretary.

Legal Advice

Members have access to legal advice by calling the Legal Helpline on 0333 400 5778. The helpline is open 8am - 7pm 5 days a week and can provide advice on all legal issues except those relating to an individual's employment. Any issues of this nature will be referred to the EIS.
