The EIS is Scotland’s largest and most influential trade union and professional organisation for teachers and lecturers, with over 60,000 members working in all education sectors.
£52,242- £59,370 pa + car + Defined Benefit Pension Scheme
Duties of this post will include representation of individual members in grievance and disciplinary matters, recruitment and retention of members, training, negotiations with employers, and the provision of organisational support to a number of the Institute’s local associations.
Applications from candidates with a background in teaching or lecturing are welcome, as are those from candidates with previous or current involvement in a trade union.
