Administrative Assistant (Employment Relations)

£26,859 – £30,213 pa

We have a vacancy in our Employment Relations Department – the post will be based at our Headquarters in central Edinburgh.

Duties of the post will principally involve administrative and secretarial support to our two in-house Legal Officers, maintenance of the department's document management system and initial communication with members on employment issues.

You will be expected to have substantial office experience including Windows based word processing together with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative is also necessary.

Benefits include a final salary pension scheme and 23 days (rising to 32) annual leave plus 14 days' public holidays.

As a consequence of the retiral of the current post-holder we now have a vacancy in our Organisation Department – the post will be based at our Headquarters in central Edinburgh.

The post will principally involve duties in connection with our AGM, meetings of Council, the Executive Committee and its Sub-Committees, together with providing administrative support to the department's Assistant Secretary. 

You will be expected to have substantial office experience including knowledge of Microsoft Office together with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative is also necessary.
