The EIS is Scotland’s largest and most influential trade union and professional organisation for teachers and lecturers, with over 55,000 members working in all education sectors.
We are currently seeking two full time Administrative Assistants in our Education & Equality Department. The successful candidates will be responsible for the administrative work relating to the Equality Committee, Education Committee and its sub-committees.
They will also provide assistance to the Professional Learning Co-ordinator, assist with the administration of training and conference events and maintain relevant sections of the EIS website. In addition, the candidates will have a high standard of communication skills and excellent attention to detail as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Benefits include a final salary superannuation scheme and 23 days (rising to 32) annual leave plus 14 days public holidays.
