Administrative Assistant Grade C – Glasgow Area Office

Salary £27,420 - £33,411

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organised full-time administrator in our Glasgow Area Office. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Area Officer(s) and provide first line response to members’ enquiries.

The successful candidate should have experience carrying out key administrative duties including office management, the preparation and distribution of correspondence, managing diaries and organising training events. The post holder will also be expected to deal with routine telephone and email enquiries, providing first line response to members.

The candidate should have a high standard of communication skills and excellent attention to detail as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office.

This is a full-time position based in our Glasgow Area Office at 6 Clairmont Gardens, Glasgow. The Institute has a Flexible Working Patterns policy offering all members of staff a high degree of flexibility over the time and location at which work is carried out, subject to the overall requirements of the EIS and its members.
