Learning for Sustainability (LfS) is an approach to life and learning which enables learners, educators, schools and their wider communities to build a socially-just, sustainable and equitable world.

In Scotland, it’s an entitlement of all learners and the responsibility of all teachers as part of a whole learning community approach.

Session overview

We warmly invite member colleagues from the primary sector to join the EIS and Learning for Sustainability Scotland* at this Professional Learning webinar.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • join fellow teachers and sector leaders to explore and share approaches to weaving a Learning for Sustainability ethos through their practice and the wider life of their settings

  • hear conversations between fellow practitioners who are already making LfS part of the everyday in their own practice and setting.

  • find out more about practical resources which support Learning for Sustainability in Scottish education.

  • benefit from insights into effective approaches to LfS activity and practical examples to shape their own teaching.
