Behaviour - What’s Going On and What Can We Do?

Join educational psychologist, James McTaggart, on Tuesday 3rd November, 5.30pm-7.30pm, online for Behaviour – What’s Going On and What Can We Do?

The session will cover:

• Different models for behaviour and its management, with the strengths and limitations of each

• A rich account of how the human brain creates behaviour, and why this can go wrong

• Consideration of the causes of different types of difficult behaviour in school, and effective approaches at individual and whole school levels

• An overall framework for understanding why pupils do what they do and how we can respond and prevent it.

Please note, this course is funded for the Highlands and Islands and Argyll and Bute areas. Booking priority will be given to people living and working in these areas.
