Join us on Saturday 1st November, 10am - 3:30pm at the EIS Glasgow Area Office for Understanding Emotion Coaching.
This full day course will include a structure of informal discussions, skills practice, and experiential exercises with the aim for participants to:
Introduce an Emotional Coaching Model which can be applied within a work setting.
Build competence and confidence in the use of emotional coaching skills.
Highlight the importance of relationships in emotional coaching.
Provide an understanding to support students as they transition between different educational stages.
Integrate restorative practices into an emotional coaching framework.
Explore a strength-based approach to applying emotional coaching techniques with neurodiverse individuals.
Encourage participants to practice self-care and contribute to creating a supportive environment for themselves and others.
Please note, participants should bring along a WiFI enabled device to the course, such as a laptop, tablet, or smart phone - this is to take part in some interactive QR code led learning during the session.
Two online courses will further develop the knowledge and skills, as follows:
Session 2 - Friday 21st November, 1:30-3:30pm will cover: Understanding Behaviour: Models for Practice.
Session 3 - Friday 28th November, 1:30-3:30pm will cover: Holding Space, Holding Boundaries.
