Whole School Approaches to Supporting Neurodiversity

Whole School Approaches to Supporting Neurodiversity will take place online, on Wednesdays 21 & 28 January and 4 February 2026, from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

This 3-part online course will include informal discussions, practice case studies, interactive online tools, and resources to support your practice.

Participants will:

  • Explore the concept and terminology of neurodiversity and it's role in fostering an inclusive learning environment for all.
  • Explore the Research, Policy, and Practice of Inclusion making connections across relevant frameworks
  • Develop an understanding of inclusion and the importance of valuing and celebrating the uniqueness of every individual.
  • Apply Strengths-Based Approaches, by understanding the principles of strengths-based working and how they foster equality and inclusion.
  • Analyse Real-Life Case Studies, exploring practice examples of strengths-based approaches in educational settings and their impact on inclusivity for all.

Please note, participants will require a WiFI enabled device that enables them to take part in some interactive QR code led learning during the session. 

Please note, this online course is funded for the Highlands and Islands and Argyll and Bute areas.

Booking priority will be given to people living and working in these areas. If places become available, these will be offered more widely, so it is worth still booking a place if you are interested in this course.
