- Living Rent: Go to our What's On page to see the latest update from Living Rent, and their petition calling for a rent freeze (that same link has other events that may also be of interest).
- Supporting the women of Afghanistan: A group at Edinburgh University is looking for volunteers to support mentoring of and education for Afghan women and girls. Please visit here for more information.
- Scotdec's Annual Teacher Networking Event: This year, Scotdec is exploring what decolonising teaching and learning looks like for different people in different spaces in Scottish education. It’s been a very busy week in the LA office, as we continue to campaign on a range of fronts, from pushing for maximum temperature limits in classrooms to action on dysregulated behaviour and excessive workload. And, of course, supporting members with a range of individual issues. We’ll endeavour to keep you informed of these as the term progresses. In the meantime, though, I hope you are finding this revised bulletin format helpful.
Have a great weekend!
Alison
