Across three sessions, participants will:
Examine their positionality as educators and (re)consider how they engage with families often considered ‘hard to reach’ or disengaged.
Explore ways to build relational agency within their workplace context with a view to increasing parental engagement.
Consider how they might develop innovative home learning opportunities which respect the diverse range of linguistic, social and cultural resources that families bring to settings.
This course will be most beneficial for those working in early years and primary settings.
