Together Alliance March and Rally

The EIS is supporting the Together Alliance and the march and rally in London – the march to stop the Far Right.

The Together Alliance is made up of hundreds of civil society organisations representing over 7 million people. They are mobilising and organising across the country to bring a message of hope over fear, building to a major demonstration in London on Saturday, 28 March.

The voices of division in our country are growing louder. Those who preach division are becoming more confident. The march bring together voices of unity and solidarity, not racism.

• Together we can reject narratives of division and racism.
• Together we can build solidarity across communities.
• Together we can unite against the far right.

The EIS is encouraging as many members and activists as possible to travel to the march in London. We are strongly encouraging members to book a travel ticket with Stand Up To Racism Scotland - ScotlandTravelsTogether!

SUTR Scotland has pre-booked train tickets to travel together to the demonstration and come back on the same day, as a group and safely. When you book and pay, you will be contacted by email with further details.

SUTR are organising a mobilisation from the west coast, via Glasgow, and east coast via Edinburgh.

This Eventbrite booking will cover your train fare (to London and back, on the same day). Please choose the option ‘I am going and can pay full price - £109.05’.

The full amount of the SUTR travel booking (plus travel to and from Edinburgh or Glasgow, and expenses on the day) can be claimed back from the EIS by filling out the expenses claim form.
