A note from the Webinar Chair, Sineag Blane
‘Welcome to the resource round up from The Value of Play In Early Years Settings, the second in a series of webinars focusing on teachers working in early years settings. I’m Sineag Blane, and it was my absolute delight to chair the webinar that brought together over 130 early years teachers around the topic of play.
‘We were joined by practitioners who shared their experiences of working with play pedagogy in today’s early years settings, framed by EIS guidance and support. Their presentation videos and links to further resources are available below.
So, whether you were unable to join us at the webinar, or if you are visiting to refresh your memory of the evening, we hope you find the resource round up useful, and you are able to join us for the third webinar late in November.’
Anne Keenan, EIS National Officer for Education outlines the current context of play pedagogy.
Michelle Davenport, P1 teacher in West Lothian discusses the realities of play pedagogy in her setting.
