Consultative Ballot 2025

The EIS ULA Consultative Ballot has now closed. 

In June, the EIS ULA opened a consultative ballot of its members on whether to accept or reject the pay offer of 1.4% from university employers; it closed last Friday, and the results are set out below: 

Question 1

“Do you wish to accept the 2025-26 Pay Offer made by UCEA?”

·       Accept – 12.75%

·       Reject – 87.25%

Question 2

“If the Pay Offer is rejected by EIS ULA members, are you willing to take sustained industrial action – including strike action - in pursuit of an improved offer?”

·       Yes - 73.7%

·       No – 26.3%

The results of the consultative ballot will be considered by the EIS ULA Executive Committee at their next meeting.
