Are you a teacher in your first five years of teaching in Scotland? Are you approaching your first Professional Update?
On April 21st, (4.30pm to 6.00pm) the EIS will be hosting a webinar with guest speakers from the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS), Education Scotland and the EIS.
Elaine Napier (GTCS Head of Education & Standards), David Burgess (Education Scotland, Head of Professional Learning and Leadership) and Susan Quinn (EIS Education Committee Convenor and a Primary Head Teacher in Glasgow) will discuss the process of Professional Update, including professional learning as well as managing workload.

Susan Quinn will present on teaching in the first five years, teacher expectations of professional update and support available from the EIS. Elaine Napier will speak on the process of professional update. David Burgess will cover professional learning for members approaching their first five years of service.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the webinar.
