Edinburgh Local Association Executive - 2024-2025

The 2024-2025 LA Executive Committee started after the Edinburgh LA AGM on Wednesday 6th March 2024.  All members are elligible to join and nomination forms can be obtained by emailing edinburghla@eis.org.uk

The day to day affairs of Edinburgh Local Association are overseen by an elected Executive Committee.  The LA Executive Committee can have a number of elected sub-committees dealing with the aspects of education. equality, finance etc.  It also has a negotiating sub-committee which meets with City of Edinburgh Council Children and Families department on all devolved matters affecting teachers in the Edinburgh area.

The LA Executive meets on a Wednesday from 5 - 7 pm, usually at the beginning of each month during term time.  There are still spaces on the LA Executive Committee for this year, if you would like to become involved with their work please request a nomination form by email .
