Welcome to the Fife Local Association of the EIS

Fife LA provides local advice and support to members along with support and training to school reps. The Fife Executive meets monthly, in term time, to discuss local issues. If you would like to be part of this decision making body please contact the local secretary as outlined above.

Regular newsletters are sent to all Fife members with the latest news and advice. In order to receive this news we ask that your membership or contact information is kept current so that you do not miss out. This can be done by logging into the My EIS section of the national website https://www.eis.org.uk/Account/EISLogin or by emailing the Fife LA office.

If you need to find a rep please contact us on fife@eis.org.uk or 01592 377399.

Scotland Demands Better March and Rally, Saturday 25th October

The EIS strongly supports the Scotland Demands Better campaign. For the rally we need a big turnout from Fife EIS members with their families and friends to march behind the EIS Fife banner showing our support.

As part of the campaign, trade unions, civic groups, charities, and all those across Scotland who are demanding better jobs and are working to end in-work poverty all have a role to play. We are also mobilising against those who are using the very things we’re campaigning for – better public services, investment in our communities, and a safety net for those in need – as a foundation for anti-migrant hate and far-right populism.

At the Meadows there will be musical acts, speeches, food vendors and free activities for children.

Further information on the campaign can be found here: https://www.scotland-demands-better.com/

We are arranging a bus to transport all supporters from Fife to and from the march and rally, so click here to reserve your seats.

Deadline for numbers is noon Thursday 9th October. This will allow me to confirm bus sizes.

NOTE: You can reserve seats up to Wed 22nd October but to avoid disappointment please reserve your seats as soon as possible.

Consultative Ballot
