We are delighted to invite you to our first Reps and Activists session of 2025/26 - ‘The EIS Rep’s Toolkit’ - with our new EIS Area Organiser Sheena Beattie. From your feedback on what you would like training and more information on, Sheena has compiled a practical Training Programme designed for all - Reps new to the role, seasoned Reps, or anyone interested in becoming a Rep or joining a Reps team. This module will focus on:
Understanding the role of the school Rep
Navigating common queries and FAQs
Introduction to key EIS policies and where to find them
Networking with fellow Reps and the Local Association Secretaries
The session will be held on Thursday 6th November at The Douglas Hotel, from 4pm-6pm. A hot buffet will be served from 4pm, with Sheena kicking things off at 4.30pm.
