EIS National Council Elections 2024 - 2025
The EIS Council for 2025 - 2026 began after the national AGM in June 2025.
The EIS Council is the principal executive committee of the EIS. It meets around 5 times a year, usually in Edinburgh and also at the AGM in June. Edinburgh Local Association is entitled to 10 Council members across the 2 categories of Primary/Nursery and Secondary/Special. The 10 places are divided on a 5:5 basis and as a Local Association we are keen to fill all of these.
