Some standing items and some new to share with members this week
Statutory Ballot: The new ballot was posted Wednesday 19th but if it’s not arrived at your home yet, please email ballot@eis.org.uk to request a replacement. Alternatively, there is a send-me-a new-ballot button in the all-member emails sent out by HQ along with another button to click to tell us you’ve voted. This allows the ballot to be tracked and has the added advantage of taking you off the contact list for receiving any further ballot emails. Further information including FAQS and the National Ballot Webinar can be found HERE and please click HERE for further details around the Workload Dispute.
Social Media Campaigning: While members are encouraged to share photos over social media of the ballot envelopes being posted, please don’t post pictures of the actual ballot paper. It would be helpful if those already out there, could be taken down where possible.
Branch Meetings: If a speaker would be helpful, please contact glasgowla@eis.org.ukto get this organised. We’d cover all themes of the Stand Up for Quality Education campaign: Workload, Behaviour and ASN along with the statutory ballot, and any H&S issues or other agenda items specific to your school.
