The EIS worked with a range of training providers during 2019 to deliver professional learning around the mental health needs of young people.

Practical tips and free, online resources are included in each course round up:

  • Keeping mental health in mind.

  • The power of seeking, speaking, sharing.

  • Talking about mental health doesn’t have to mean mental ill health.

Young Scot has launched a toolkit 'Aye Feel' with practical information for young people on how to look after emotional wellbeing, support from organisations around Scotland and tips on how to promote a positive mindset.

The British Psychological Society has provided guidance on how to talk to children about COVID-19.

Mind has also produced guidance that is directly aimed at children and young people to support their health and wellbeing at this time.
