EIS National Officer for Equalities, Selma Augestad, offered an Introduction to Embedding Equality in Early Years Practice, illustrating the wealth of equalities focused materials available on the EIS website.

Early Years teacher, David Dick, led an interactive workshop on A Practical Introduction to Embedding Equality in Early Years Practice, with a particular focus on LGBT+ Inclusion.

The workshop aimed to build confidence around LGBT+ inclusive education, to illustrate how to positively influence children’s lives, through bias-free interactions, and supporting ways to learn positive attitudes towards diversity.
