RESULT OF INDUSTRIAL ACTION BALLOT ON NATIONAL PAY CLAIM (2023-24) TRADE DISPUTE
The statutory ballot result regarding the national pay claim dispute (2023-24) is now available. The results are as follows:
Turnout was 41.38%.
“Are you willing to take industrial action consisting of Action Short of Strike (ASOS) action in pursuit of the national pay claim dispute?
Yes: 80.74%
No: 19.26%
Are you willing to take industrial action consisting of strike action in pursuit of the national pay claim dispute?”
Yes: 73.98%
No: 26.02%

This result does not meet a legal threshold to carry out lawful industrial action. The EIS ULA Executive Committee will be meeting this Wednesday, 8th November 2023 and will consider the ballot result.
